At the main cemetery in the city of Oaxaca visitors are served hot chocolate and “pan de muerto,” (a special bread made of the occasion). The crowds are enormous and the site is lit like a movie production. Here the crowd circulates in front of a wall where hundreds of people are buried, each tomb lit by a candle.
